A lifelong West Virginian for the people

I’m a lifelong West Virginian, a public school teacher who has spent 30 years working with and advocating for working families, and a proud union member. I’ve seen firsthand the challenges facing our schools, our teachers, our families, and our communities—and I decided to run for State Senate because I believe working people deserve a stronger voice in Charleston.

Experience that makes a difference

My experience as an educator, coach, union leader, and community organizer has taught me how to listen, bring people together, and fight for practical solutions. As President of the Mineral County Democratic Party and a member of the West Virginia Democratic State Executive Committee, I’ve worked across our community to build a better future.

Championing our district's vital issues

I’m running because I want to bring that same commitment to the State Senate and make sure the 14th District has a senator who will always put people before corporations and special interests. The top issues for me are protecting our communities from the unchecked expansion of MARL, Valley North, and data centers; fully funding and protecting our public schools; and making West Virginia an affordable place to live, work, and raise a family.

"I’m relatable because I’m an everyday West Virginian. I’ve lived the same realities as the people I want to represent."
