Who we are fighting for
I believe the people most likely to support this campaign are ordinary West Virginians who believe their communities deserve a stronger voice in Charleston. That includes working families, teachers and school employees, union members, small-business owners, retirees, young people, parents, and anyone who cares about the future of our communities.
I also expect support from people who believe that economic development should benefit the people who live here—not just corporations and outside investors—and from those who want fully funded public schools, strong public institutions, good-paying jobs, and an affordable place to raise a family.
Most importantly, I’m asking for support from people who believe politics should be about people, not power or money. This campaign will be built on grassroots support, with ordinary people giving what they can because they believe West Virginia can and should do better.
